Johanna Brunner and Anjuna Hartmann take their experimental and action-packed film project, “Cycles,” a step further: they openly and honestly explore the transformative power inherent in the female cycle, aiming to raise awareness among viewers about their own inner phases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This very personal subject gained widespread attention last winter due to a bizarre translation error during an interview with alpine skiing superstar Mikaela Shiffrin (a reporter from the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation ORF mistakenly translated “monthly cycle” as “monthly cycling”).
