Super Saint-Bernard \u2013 Rise and fall of a freeride paradise<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 47 years, the small Swiss ski resort of Super Saint-Bernard, right on the border with Italy, delighted families and generations of freeriders on both sides. Countless off-piste tours started here, and the north-facing terrain was considered an Eldorado for deep snow enthusiasts. But remote and too small for modernisation, the resort had to close in 2010. Today, Super Saint-Bernard is a relic of a less connected, more primitive time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born from the vision of connecting the road from Bourg Saint-Bernard (1,932 m) with the Col de Menouve (2,775 m), the documentary tells its story through interviews and archive material. Between joy and melancholy, a place remains palpable that, despite its standstill, is free of sadness and once again completely untouched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
