It\u2019s almost June. Arnaud Cottet, Mathieu Schaer and Jochen Mesle, accompanied by filmmaker Jules Guarneri, go for a week of camping on the Saleinaz Glacier, located on the Swiss side of the massif du Mont-Blanc. Their goal: explore the faces around them, eat fresh food and, above all, finding a story to tell in their movie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Up there, only a few hours away from home and at the same time lost in complete wilderness, they question themselves about the activity they have been doing for years: making ski and snowboard films. SALEINAZ represents a desire to return to their origins, which revolve around the love of adventure and respect for the mountains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“You don’t have to travel around the world to immerse yourself in a radically different, strange and wild universe,” says Jules Guarneri. And Arnaud Cottet adds: “We also tried to emphasise the ecological aspect of this type of activity. This was done, for example, through the choice of food, preferring fresh food to freeze-dried products \u2013 despite the extra weight.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
