Bibian Mentel, whose lower leg had to be amputated due to cancer and who won a gold medal at the Paralypics in snowboarding with a prosthesis, and X-Games winner Kees Jan van der Klooster, who is paraplegic after a snowboarding accident and relies on a sit-ski, want to fulfill a dream at the end of a tough season.

They go heliskiing on the glaciers around the Matterhorn with greats of the freeride scene like Samuel Anthmatten, Matthias “Hauni” Haunholder and Lucas Swieykowsky. In the process, Bibi and Kees Jan get into a critical situation: they find themselves on an icy steep slope with broken slush. “Enabled” is also a film about the right to fall, about the art of getting back up again and about the conflict between self-determination and external determination.
