The Freeride Film Festival will be touring cinemas in Austria, Germany and Switzerland again from November 4 to 17, 2022.
You can expect a program full of magical moments in harmony with nature, full of experimental storytelling techniques and full of virtuosity in both the sporting and artistic sense.
The difference to other festivals is their commitment to bring films with meaningful purposes regarding environmental issues on their screen and stage. It is clear that to limit global warming and biodiversity loss, societies need to develop new narratives and trigger wide systemic changes. I’m convinced that outdoor sport movies have an import role to play in this regard.
One of the best. Harry + Crew giving 110% to provide a great show while having this easy-going attitude that everyone loves. Being on the road together and sharing this time was something I’ll never forget. Thanks and see you again soon.

Never thought I'd get to roll around the German speaking countries of Europe in a tour bus presenting a ski movie that we're proud of with a bunch of other cool cats and their movies! And that I was able to be a presenter at the World Wide Shows 20/21 and on the Tour 21 was a great honor. Huge thanks to Harry and Volker for making it happen.
I had so much fun showing my movies in my home city and travel around Europe with a group of super nice people! Harry & team put so much passion into it and you can really feel it. Great show and super high quality movies! Grazie!
GRANDE. They got the spirit, they share the spirit. Curating happens with a Vision, a superb blend of films & characters hits the road… Quick and easy communication is another big plus. 127,9% recommended.
Super friendly, super duper familiar and straightforward. Since it was my first "film submission" they really helped me with valuable information. Super nice to see that this festival combines sports, passion, culture and also art. I am super happy that I could win the ABS Safety Award with my art project. Keep up the good work!

Great to work with them, good crew of amazing people !! Thankful we could be a part of it all ready two times! I have such good memories, one of the sickest moments in my skiing life 😀
Really good festival with a good selection of films. Very ambitious work and commitment from the whole team. Thanks a lot for having already 3 of my movies in the history of the FFF.
The Freeride Filmfestival was for me 50% of the motivation to realize my ski films. The annual showdown of the freeride scene is mega, to have a film in the program of the FFF is a highlight!

Ich bin wirklich begeistert, dass mein Film 'Life of Glide' es in die Auswahl geschafft hat. Dieses Festival ist eine 100%ig leidenschaftliche Plattform, die den Spirit des wahren Freeridens vermittelt. Macht weiter so!

The Freeride Filmfestival is always a real party! Besides the ski action on the screen, there's also a lot of action at the stops themselves and it's always fun to be there. It's one of the festivals where you can really feel the spirit of winter sports and snow, not least because Harry as curator has lived and still lives this spirit himself. Something like that must not be lost. Keep up the spirit and stoke for winter and snow!
What is at the base of order and organization of the universe? Many theories speak about earth, water, fire and air such as the 4 natural elements that compose life outside but also inside of ourselves. These elements are part of us human beings just like the universe. Silvia is a professional freerider from the...
It’s almost June. Arnaud Cottet, Mathieu Schaer and Jochen Mesle, accompanied by filmmaker Jules Guarneri, go for a week of camping on the Saleinaz Glacier, located on the Swiss side of the massif du Mont-Blanc. Their goal: explore the faces around them, eat fresh food and, above all, finding a story to tell in...
A skier wanders on his own on a glacier during a bright full-moon night. He steps into the abyss of a glacier cave. His longing for spiritual liberation guided him there, as far as possible from everything he knows. He dives into the depths of the unknown and discovers the mystical connection of freeriding with...
This film is an aesthetically uniquely prepared journey through the Swiss mountains. An illustrator dreams of taking his two friends to a magical place full of powder and cheese. As an additional companion they have Binxte, the dog, with them. In this wonderful project, animations and real film footage are woven...
The pristine high alpine landscapes of the Alps are at risk, as developers encroach ever further in the name of expanding ski resorts and their infrastructure. Vanishing Lines tells the story of these last wild places on the brink of destruction, and the movement to protect what we still can. This short...
Arianna Tricomi is not only one of the very best freeriders of today, but also has a wonderfully powerful voice. A perfect mix for a film that shines with sensational ski action from unusual and close-up camera positions as well as with its very own narrative. The three-time freeride world champion comes from the...
Simply beautiful, beautifully simple. That’s how easy life can be. Although the action in "Simply" is of the very finest kind – just like the masterful direction, the great camera work and the brilliant soundtrack. Behind this thoroughly smooth production are freeskier Laurent de Martin and filmmaker Titouan...

Gerwentil is the historical name of the Karwendel Mountains. One of the few places where you can still experience real adventures. The story begins at Ahornboden, at the northern entrance to the Karwendel. There, centuries-old maple trees are just losing their autumn dress and preparing for the dark time of the...
