Bring the FFF to your home

The FFF23 Cinema Edition presents the Official Selection of the 2023 Freeride Film Festival. The program under the motto “FOREVER RIDE” covers a wide spectrum: from relentless ski action and the female cycle to playful dystopias and wordless beauty to arctic adventures and a snowboard film about the magic of cornering. This firework display of freeride films will be hosted by our star presenter Martin Misof.

In November 2023, the festival toured Austria, Germany, Switzerland and South Tyrol together with athletes and filmmakers. Where we were unable to appear in person, the Cinema Edition was used. With around 60 cinemas across Europe, we reached the largest audience in the history of the Freeride Film Festival.

The Freeride Film Festival 2022 brought an extraordinary mix of freeride films to the big screens. Never before in the 12-year existence of the FFF have the reactions to the programme been so positive. All the films come from the low-budget segment and impress with their professionalism and creativity. These 5 films take us to Switzerland, Siberia and also to Austria, giving a range from steepskiing to poetic snowboard film, from freeski-comedy to questioning the sense of freeriding by the two pro riders Xavier de le Rue and Elias Elhardt.

The Freeride Filmfestival Worldwide Show 2020 produced in a studio in Innsburck/Austria, online with star guests in the studio. Presented by Harry Putz, co-founder of the FFF and Neil Williman, pro skier, voice of FWT Livestream. As a reaction on Covid-19 lockdown and restriction of physical events the Freeride Filmfestival took place online, the first time in its 11 years history.

What can you expect? Five independent movies from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Iceland and Norway that all have one theme in common: SHRED@HOME ! That means all projects have been realised in the crew´s homemountains. All films are either in English or with English subtitles.
