The film shows the life of Nadine Wallner at freeride contests as well as adventurous projects, strengthened by her intimate relationship with the Arlberg.

The film shows the life of Nadine Wallner in freeride competitions and adventurous projects around the world. The driving force behind the film is Nadine’s intimate relationship with the Arlberg, where she grows up in the idyllic village of Klösterle with its 600 inhabitants. Thanks to her father Erhard – a full-time mountain guide – the mischievous girl gets to know the Arlberg in a playful way. One day Nadine stumbles upon a “tooagroaßte” group of deep-snow maniacs – the Gnarlberg Steinböcklis. She follows the free spirits Christian Schnabel and Juan Bergada at every turn and develops a deep passion for freeriding.

On the advice of her friends, Nadine took part in freeride competitions, qualified for the World Cup and won the title of youngest rookie on the scene at the first attempt in 2013. The following winter, she was once again crowned winner of the Freeride World Tour. Her high-flying career came to an abrupt end during filming in Alaska, where she suffered an open fracture of her lower leg. Her career comes to an abrupt end.

The recovery process takes two full years, but she emerges stronger and more mature. She devotes more time to climbing and paragliding – and once again rediscovers the Arlberg. She also tackles her biggest domestic projects to date with trusted ski partners, skiing some of the Arlberg’s boldest lines.
