The freeskiers Matthias “Hauni” Haunholder and Matthias Mayer realize an expedition into the unknown for the second time. This time their destination is the peak Gora Pobeda, with 3003m the highest mountain in Eastern Siberia. The next settlement with road access is 350 kilometers away and the thermometer here regularly drops below -60°C.

In January 2016, the two flew to Siberia for the first time to explore the local conditions. Only with the support of the indigenous nomads who live at the foot of the mountains, this project became possible at all.

In April, the two then set off on the off-road journey through Yakutia in eastern Siberia in the back of an Ural truck to get closer to the foot of Gora Pobeda and the longed-for first ascent in the freezing cold. FFF will screen an exclusive festival version of this feature-length TV documentary.
