“Time for the Whiteroom” was the title of the first Hoffmann / Regensburg production, which was realized in 2012 together with Simon Platzer Films. With breathtaking shots and a gripping story, they caused a sensation not only in European cinemas. So it was clear to the three filmmakers that there would be another film.

First, the field of athletes and the list of film locations was expanded. In addition, the camera equipment was stocked up – and off we went. The hunt for the highly coveted “whiteroom” took the crew to the most remote places on the globe this season.

Packaged in an offbeat storyline, Platzer attempts to combine an homage to classic western films with a modern freeride adventure, giving viewers an entertaining look at skiing and snowboarding.
