The sky turns from yellow to red to blue. A streetlight first flickers and then begins to glow. Shadows pass over the facades of the houses, while inside the lights come on and people slowly settle down.

Another day draws to a close and the veil of night settles over the city. Snow crystals glisten in a cold light. The sun has gone out, but behind a snow-covered mountain peak the moon rises in full splendor, opening up a view of a snowy paradise. Two silhouettes can be made out on the horizon. They are Max Kroneck and Jochen Mesle on a ski tour in the middle of the night. Because while the day is ending for one of them, it is just beginning for the other.

This film is the first to feature progressive freeriding on a full moon night, with no artificial light sources at all during the descents.
