A Snowboardfilm about vulnerability

After tragic avalanche accidents, professional snowboarders Xavier De Le Rue and Elias Elhardt question their motivation for the potentially life-threatening freeriding to which they have dedicated their lives. During several days together in the mountains, they share their formative experiences with extreme risks and also talk about what it actually means for them to be vulnerable. “Invisible Ground” challenges unrealistic notions of control and explores the tension between a love of adventure and a fatal tendency to take risks.
