This film shows the inspiring journey of two snowboard world champions through Iceland. Anne-Flore Marxer and Aline Bock explore the country in a campervan in search of perfect spots for their favorite sports, snowboarding and surfing. As they playfully navigate the mountains, waves and northern lights on their nearly eight-week tour, they also meet outstanding Icelandic women who are standing up for equality.

“A Land Shaped by Women” is intended to empower women to bring a female narrative language to male-dominated outdoor and action sports. But the film also aims to encourage all of us to actively shape the world so that it is worth living for every human being and does not tolerate any form of discrimination.
