A Film About Turning
An unexpected snowboarding film that’s all about turning, and where nobody leaves the ground. Yet, Samuel McMahon directs the subject so brilliantly that it leaves you breathless. In search of the perfect turn, the filmmaker encounters dreamy locations—from the Alps to Japan—and incredible characters like France’s freestyle legend, Mathieu Crepel.
“‘Left Right’ is the project I’ve been working towards for the past ten years,” explains McMahon. “I hope the film gives you goosebumps, a few laughs, and, in the process, showcases some incredible people, styles, and turns.” Additionally, he weaves profound insights about turning because, whether you’re entering a jump, tearing down exposed faces, gliding through forests, or taking your first snowboarding lesson, the turn is at the heart of the sport.
