Janelle Yip, Emily Childs (both CAN), and Tonje Kvivik (NOR) go by “The Blondes” and know only one speed: full throttle. They deliver the sickest lines and the most hardcore freeride action ever seen from women in a film—both technically and in terms of breathtaking shots. However, these three are not reckless daredevils; they consciously conquer male-dominated domains like big mountain skiing, wildfire fighting, and helicopter flying.

“The Blondes” is the endearing portrait of three friends and simultaneously an advocacy for Women’s Empowerment. It’s perhaps the most feminist ski action film in FFF history. Truly, it’s top-tier freeride cinema, both visually and musically, crafted by Clay Mitchell, a filmmaker with a diverse portfolio ranging from Hollywood productions and major commercials to adventure and documentary films. Today, he co-owns and operates Ck9 Studios in Canada
